Default China's largest counterfiet watch company raided and closed!

It's all over the several Replica Watch Forums that the "Noob Factory" manufacturing plant was raided and closed down by the Police a couple of days ago in China.

NOOB is one of the largest and highest quality of "fake' Rolex manufacturers in China and a favorite of the fake watch wearers.

The fakers be a freaking! If the Chinese crackdown on all these counterfeit watchmakers, it means one thing to me, Trumps Trade War with China is working and they are cracking down on these fakers to show they are willing to deal with the intellectual property theft and counterfeit markets.
Own or have Owned the following: 1996 Sub, 3. Sinns 1. Omega vintage dress watch 3 Citizen Signature automatics, 4 Eco Drives, 2 Tag Heuers, 2 Accutrons, 2 Orients, 5 Seikos, 2 Invictas, 1 Pulsar 2 Tissots 1 Skagen and 1 Victorinox Swiss Army, Longines Legend Diver, Steinhart Smurf. and an Eterna Kon Tiki date. Oris 65 Oris Arctix, Borealis Estoril, Wenger Arctic Light, Breitling Colt Chrono, Certina DS Action Chronometer, Monta Triumph.

There’s no way of knowing why they are cracking down, but it is certainly good news.

China could be a desirable place from many perspectives if the government would clean up their act. They’re strangely defensive though. They talk “global”, but they do some crazy stuff that is wildly against international norms. It’s a real shame.

That is really something Chaz, and hadn't heard the news of it
until now, so thanks very much ! ..Think it's so strange that
this kind of thing wasn't stopped, or at least cracked down on
many many years ago.

Am wondering now if this will lead to, or spread to a lot of other
goods other than watches too. Very interesting sir !

Thanks again for the report !

Default Tip of the iceberg...

On the surface it seems like it will make a difference, but good luck trying to stop them, NOOB factory has many sub factory's and this raid wont even slow them down. My brother in-law has been working in China for years, he just chuckled when i mention this to him, they are not just one factory, they can set up elsewhere in days and be back in business. It is a sad reality.

I agree with db1561. Counterfeit business is not often confined to one location. I also heavy doubt that the tariffs have anything to do with these raids. In the scheme of things, back to business as usual.
