^^^ A fine choice. I've found, since I've been collecting, that for me, there is no such thing as a One True Grail. It's fun to set a goal for a great watch, but once you've obtained it - then what? For me, sooner or later (usually sooner) another "grail" is on my radar. All good. It's the collector in me I suppose. I know longer seek the grails.

It's an interesting thought, but the topic of grails has been flogged to death.

Here's just a couple of former "Grails",

I surely do like that Omega with the orange bezel insert! My bank account won't let me set my sights so high so, right now I'm really lusting after this one:

My grail is a Swiss made Accutron Chapter Ring 18kt Solid White Gold with baguettes diamonds at the 3, 6, 9, and 12 hour markers...

Here's an ad from back in the day...

And here is one in need of loving attention in the wild...

Pepsi insert, GMT, great name, Jubilee bracelet - what's not to love?

I'm with Roarry. Appreciate and enjoy all the watches in my little collection, so no grail per se.

I totally agree with Roarry & Reflex about enjoying all my watches.

I'll go along with the Grail idea and put this one at the top. Being retired and on a fixed income means I know I'll never be able to afford it. Now I could sell some of my collection and buy it but that would mean less watches in the box that I still enjoy wearing just as much as the day they arrived. Hence the reason I don't sell. I have given quite a few to my sons though.

Only a Calibre 11 as it must be a LH crown.

Some extraordinary watches, and grails above guys !!!

Honestly have such a hard time choosing a grail to tell the truth.
There just are too many watches both past, and also present that
amaze me. But if I had to choose one, it might be one, or both of
these two Zodiacs below...

I too am with the majority here, I have never used the term grail. I enjoy all my watches equally regardless of expense be it my SKX009 or my GMT Master. I am wearing my SKX as we speak a very firm favourite and a keeper in my rotation. I could perhaps call all of them grails. So here is mine.

If I ever get divorced and pay for the kids college I'll get that milsub. Until then Seiko is about it but still a nice thread to drool over.

Seiko's are nice! I hope you don't ever get divorced as I've been down that road a time or two! A good companion to pass the time with is better than a time piece to watch the time go by!

A perpetual returning question on every watch forum on the globe Grail is quite definitive so let's say the watch below has my strong preference but the Rolex 6538 ('Big Crown') comes in at a very close second:

I'm in agreement with a few others about grails being a moving target really. Here is something that has stuck on my radar for a long time.
