Somehow missed these way back when Alessandro, and are just
seeing these too. Thanks very much for showing them to us !

Honestly is so terrific that you not only came up with the ideas
behind these marvels, but then could actually create them !
It's really cool beyond words, and really love how you are both
thinking outside the box, and keeping tradition going with these
creations.

Going to just stare at these for a while !

everybody has different niche/tastes on what they want and find appealing

Good work. Panerai needs the competition. There's a market, that's someone's dream watch.

Alessandro

I like what you're doing. You've got your own definite style going on and you're actually making physical prototypes, which I think is the only way to actually develop and build a watch that is any good.

To me, the case looks slightly too heavy still, but I'm sure you haven't finished prototyping and refining it. To get a balanced look, why not try applying Fibonacci sequence ratios to the sizes. The 'Golden ratio' of 1:1.617 is the closed form solution to the ratio and gives shapes and dimensions that are aesthetically the most pleasing. I use Fibonacci in all the major dimensions and proportioning in the watches I make:

6970:
Remember! It's your vision you are fulfilling. Not someone else's.
If everyone shared the same vision it would be a dull world.
I'm sure not everyone shares a vision of a one hand watch, or a
chrono or every other watch configuration.
Elvis liked a cresent shaped watch. Sure would'nt have fit my
pistol.

That's a good attitude - everyone will tell you what to do or how to make it better, but it's your watch so you should do it exactly the way you want.

I agree with that totally, it is your watch, your vision and your ideal that you are materializing. All I can say is that it is awesome to make a whole watch from scratch.

Well done for the build and hopefully you will be happy with it yourself int he end.

If you have any other project please post it.

Dale:
After 65+ years buying, owning an flipping watches, I gotta admit
that's the first watch I've seen with a combination of Roman, Arabic
and Symbol indices on the dial. Not criticizing, just taking notice.

6970,

To paraphrase Lou's comment in part, ...what a dull world it would be if we all had the same vision..is spot on!
Congrats on your effort and keep going!
Best,
Scott

I do like the look of the orange dial, it is my favourite out of all the colours shown. Top work.
