Default What is the one watch you PREVIOUSLY OWNED and wished you HAD BACK??

We all have sellers remorse at one time or another.

What is a watch THAT YOU OWNED IN THE PAST and then either sold or traded and you WISH you owned again.

Everyone has one they regret letting go.

Which one is it for you.

Please post a picture of the watch you wished you had back if you can.

Good question
I could name 10

Here is one, an odd ball for sure but rare
I could not find another and calling the AD's I think this was a prototype
Would like to know if anyone other than the guy who begged me to sell it has one. White Dial Stowa top of the line

I also had a Zeno GMT prototype. Dang #2

There are other white dial Seatime Prodivers out there. I have seen a few over the years. Here are a few photos:

I miss the heck out of my SuperOcean from about 6-7 years ago (still have his picture, LOL). Like most folks in the tech community, I went from a reasonably well paying job to the unemployment line with a round of downsizing, so the luxury items had to go (wife lost a Tag Heuer diamond Link too), and we really had to rethink our financial goals and priorities... I have yet to purchase another watch of this caliber, and may never do it, despite a return to gainful employment. Still it's fun to window shop and live vicariously through y'all.

I actually do not regret any of my sales. I got rid of them for a reason and if they were worth keeping I would have not let them go.

Actually, I regret more than one. Any of my Rolex's, I had to sell all of them to try to pay off debt from a very bad business deal and unscrupulous business partners. Still paying!

Got to say thankfully I have never sold a watch I wanted to keep.

This might sound strange James, but never sold any of my watches if you can believe it. So no regrets as of yet actually.

I can't think of any I truly regret. There are a few that I might buy again because I miss having them, but in the end I got rid of them for a reason.

There was of course one of my early Seiko mods that turned out awesome but I traded because I didn't wear it enough that if I find I would offer to buy it back, only because I don't want to have to build another one :

hahahaha - that is my picture!! I owned one of those for a short time. I wanted one of the Puck models SO BAD but when I got it I found it (for me) so large and flat on my wrist I ended up selling it. But yes, that is my picture

Of all of the many many watches I have sold or traded over the years there are only 2-3 I actually miss.

I miss this one a lot and I only owned it for a few short weeks because it had a problem with the movement and went back to the dealer. This was one of the very first watches I truly loved many years ago and I finally was able to find and buy one, but sadly it was not working correctly and went back. I miss the Breitling Hercules A393610 / A553 a lot.... This one

The other that I do miss pretty regularly is the Hamilton X-Wind on the full bracelet. I LOVED this watch forever. Still sad I sold it while chasing someone else.

Luckily for me. I've avoided seller's remorse up to this point.

I have sold, given away or just plain threw out more then a few watches, can honestly say I have only truly regretted selling this one.

Zodiac Sea Wolf, purchased in when I was the Marines on a Navy Ship (from the Ships store) in 1966. Paid $120 for it, interestingly enough they were also selling Rolex Subs for $180. Couldn't scrounge up the money for the Rolex, and at that time Rolex wasn't the Hotsy Totsy watch it is today.

It stopped running in 1971 and when I took it to a watchmaker to get it fixed, he wanted $25 just to open up the case, back then I wasn't making that much money and $25 was a lot of money to me. I ended up selling it to a friend for $25.

Saw him a few years ago and he said he could never get it fixed either and had thrown it away.

Shame really.
