I don't regret any sold or traded. I got a Deep Blue Master 2000 for the second time but it's because the black hands didn't appeal to me, the one I have now has orange hands which changes the watch completely but I never regretted selling the first one.

I let go of the black super dome Viking because of that huge bubble that scared me of scratching it or shattering it one day.

I regretted not owning a Viking anymore but it was the wrong one for me. The superdome was absolutely cool though and incredibly appealing.
Now I'm still waiting the the orange flat crystal from Tempest Ben cus it's stuck in Memphis, TN customs. Will be a great day when it arrives.

I miss those case sides and that crazy bad to the bone bezel.

Regret probably the wrong word as I sold this one and a couple others to have extra spending money on my trip to Ireland which came in handy. But I sure do miss it. Don't have any really great pics but here is one of my steinhart 44 gmt.

Blue Omega Seamaster when I had more money. I sold it to pay a back child support bill when my state of residence decided that I owed more than I was currently paying. &*^%$#@!

I've flipped about 30 watches over the past 5 years - there's only one that I miss and I still don't know why I ever sold it or what I even bought from the funds raised from the sale. Would love to have this one back.

Thanks
I did call and check the serial numbers etc. something about this one was not on record
per the company.
Might be the colors as well. The ones you show are a tad different like the Rhodium but I see white dial. Might have been mine later on?

Anyway, I should have kept it

Yeah g'day,

I can thankfully say I have not sold anything to regret it later but looking at it from another angle.

I do regret breaking the first watch my parents gave me back in my teenage years it was an automatic Citizen not sure of the model but can still remember the sound of it smashing when I fell into a 6' drainage ditch.

Once the crystal cracked it filled with water ( a nice green algae colour ) and stuffed the watch completely.

As a side note I all I got out of it was bruised ribs and dislocated kneecaps.

Perhaps this should be an alternate thread.

I remember when you purchased this one from the Bay. There were two being sold from the same seller, white dial and black dial. For the price they were sold for and immaculate condition both were in, the deal was freakin unbelievable!

It is just a beautiful watch and my favorite Ball.

If/when I do get rid of this one, I'm sure I'll regret it.

That watch was and still IS awesome. And you almost never ever see them come up for sale any more. I love that one also.

Some regret. In 1980 I bought a Cartier Santos Dumont Carré Automatic in SS. I sold it two years later to my brother to fund a Cartier Tank Vermeil. The latter was a big, big mistake. And the Santos Dumont was from the first series. And that came with a life-time guarantee! My brother has had it refurbished two times by Cartier since. Free of charge. Every time it came back like new, wrapped in blue plastic. He still wears it on a daily basis, it is his 'beater' The bracelet is a work of art and because it belongs to my brother the regret is only slight.

The only watch that I'd really like back was a Seiko chrono my parents got me as a gift for my graduation. It was stolen with about 15 other watches years ago.

Even if I found that same model, it'll never be the same.

Otherwise, they're just watches. I sold them, I'm good with it

I have given away more then I have sold. No regrets. I miss the Kalmar DLC GMT. I sold it because the DLC coating was Clemens first attempt and it was a scratch magnet on the coating. I got almost all my money back and I had it for a couple of years.

No regrets.

Are there watches that maybe I'd have preferred to hang on to? Sure, but they went towards one I enjoy even more so it's all good.
