Default Timex Q

Hi all. Anyone order a "Q" ? I did yesterday. I think it's pretty cool. Any thoughts?

I think it is a pretty neat looking watch. It is also kind of an icon.

Didn't order one flintlock, but still think the watch is ridiculously cool !

I mean it's a timeless looking design, and you can't beat the price
either at the end of the day. ..What a fantastic pick-up here. Think
you will love it. Big congrats ahead of time to you !!!

Funk:
Back n tha day (1961) I worked for the USAR t their center in Abilene, Tx.
Abilene was Timex assembly plant. Got to be pals with the Timex Plant Mgr
He'd sell me any Timex they made for only $10.00.I musta had a cigar box
full of them

Now Timex is owned by a Dutch concern. Goodwatch would be informed on
that.

Sometimes I think I missed the golden age of watchmaking. I was born after quartz technology.

Too much honour my friend, I just consult WikiPedia And I quote: "Timex Group B.V., a Dutch holding company, is the corporate parent of several watchmaking companies around the globe including Timex Group USA, Inc.". That's all I know.

But I do want to say something in general about the Timex brand. Back in the day (when I was a brat), Timex was a highly regarded brand in my country. Mainly because it was an American brand and affordable.

Been eyeballing a Marlin but that is definitely vintage inspired and cool. Nice pickup, I might be joining you with a Quartz diver. Thanks for the post.

50m WR?? Maybe, Maybe not!

I could pick up two or three more Vostoks for what this thing costs.
