Default Certina DS Automatic GMT

Happened to be cruising through Jomashop and some Youtube videos of new watch releases and found this gem from Certina.

The watch utilizes the new ETA Powermatic 80 with GMT function. Most ETA GMTs movements are a turn off to me due to their lack of Hour Jump hand, meaning you have to hack the watch to reset it to local time.

Surprisingly looking at a video of another version of this watch, the Hour hand does jump just like on the Rolex GMT movements. A download of the instruction manual confirms this as well!

This watch is a steal at $595 at Jomashop, couldn’t pass up that price, considering all the below features and the fact I already own a Certina DS Action quartz Chronometer and the case, fit and finish is the level of a $4K watch.

Shipping is in 2 or 3 weeks and the price coincides with how much money I won at the Casino last night!

This dude looks like he has a 5” wrist so the watch if wearing super big.

Heres video of it!

That is crazy Chaz ! ..Crazy cool !!!

Man oh man, Certina not only builds some exceptional watches,
but then makes them available at some really great prices.

I mean you showed us the DS Day and Date recently that
was excellent, and now this GMT which is outstanding !

Can't believe it's an automatic too. Wow, ridiculously nice !

Huge congratulations here ahead of time to you sir !!!

Here's a video of one of their other variants of this watch, more sporty looking, and a couple of hundred bucks more, outstanding looking, but limited in versatility compared to the bracelet model. Although since the watch isn't in stock at Jomashops and has a 2 to 3 week arrival date, I just might reconsider going with the Orange hands one, which could be worn with just about anything.

These models are stunning, especially the green model on PVD

Boy oh boy, those are something special as well Chaz ! The way that
the PVD adds a whole new dimension, and also personality is phenomenal !

A lot of times people are always looking for a nice GMT, but don't want the
ordinary, and these are definitely extraordinary. Honestly, can't remember
seeing this combination of colors, or just design, or strap combo on a GMT
from a brand, or company. I mean maybe someone could customize an
older watch like this, but brand new, this is so neat sir !

Thanks a lot for the look, and also video !!!
