Default Somebody help me

I just ordered one of the watches that I have always wanted. I ordered a Bulova Moon Watch. I got it from Jomashop on sale.

If congratulating you is helpful then I'll help. Congrats!

I've read and even studied that positive reinforcement is helpful for people as messed up as you.

I can help. Just divert shipping to me so you don't have to deal with returning that monstrosity.

That sounded quite dramatic but I'm afraid that is like asking an alcoholic in a liquor store how many bottles he wants Can't help you there but that is a great and classic watch!

We seem to have caught the bug hard around the same time. My new rule is, I gotta love it without question for at least a month and, of course, be able to afford it monetarily and with wrist time. Quite a few passing beauties have floated by and away within a month. I have a fickle eye, but a couple have stuck fast. If they cost more than $500, I gotta wait 6 months. That Bulova Moon is a classic timepiece at a good price and if you've always wanted it and can afford it, why the hell not. It's a sexy piece from the semi-turtle case to the dial layout to the historical reiteration. Congrats!

Shakermt:
IMHO, picking this watch (I have 2 Bulovas with the 262 movement) shows you
need little help. My 2 Bulovas are the 98B230 and 98B231.
100 Attaboys on the selection. The Bulova Moonwatch was the 2nd watch on the
moon!!! Omega the 1st in 1969.

Shaker,
Doctor Scott is here. My diagnosis is a case of Horopathy! It is incurable, but can be treated with therapy, (this thread for example), and communication with those that have the same affliction e.g. , me!
Additional treatments involved adding horological devices, aka watches, on a semi regular basis to alleviate symptons.

Enjoy the Bulova! I love mine!
Scott, Phd. ( piled higher and deeper)
BTW, Yes, I coined the term "Horopathy"!

Y'all see the help I really need is more suggestions on different/new brands I'd love to pick up a higher end watch like a Zenith, Tudor/Rolex or a Breitling. For one of those I'd almost have to buy used from someone willing to take payments lol. (fat chance)

Coming to this place asking people to talk you out of buying watches is like asking a bar tender to help you to stop drinking.
Enjoy

Bros:
Dont know why, but ever so often, the Zon has these Warehouse Specials on
watches. Bought both of my Bulovas for CHEEP!!! Like DR Scott says. Collecting
is an addiction. I've been collecting since the last century. 1949 in fact. I've owned
dozens of watches. The devil makes me do it (gotta blame somebody).
I have a bid in on a piece at the Bay. I'm highest bidder do far.
