Hey Chaz, nice choice! I get the same comment from my wife & she's not far wrong.
I'll take a cue from you & try to expand my horizons. Looking forward to some pics.

If I'm not mistaken "Tattoo Chef" did a youtube review on this watch about three years ago, here it is!

I love my L-T, and I'm sure you'll love yours. Just an all-around great piece.

Chazzman:
You too? I have 2 more hand crankers than winders.
6 mechanicals but only 2 watch winders. o I get my
RDA of watch cranking 7 days a week. Like they're
gonna call me away to command the Space Shuttle?

A WF doth not live on mechanicals alone!
20 quartz watches, 6 mechanicals. Had to flip 3 pieces.
No room at the Inn for em.

Way to keep that wife happy, Chazman!!!!!

Excellent choice!

But maybe you'd better find another couple 3 more unique-looking pieces, because I can almost hear what she's thinking as she looks at the new LT: "Except for that one, all his watches look the same!!!"

"Jones" as in reference to the old ghetto slang for an "addition" (drugs).

The Lum-Tec G1 arrived today, via U.S. mail. Watch is very nice. Very unique looking . It’s a big watch yet wears very comfortable.
Here it is on it’s original strap which a little short. Having the tang on the buckle out to the next to the last hole on the end of the strap, so if your wrist is larger then 8” you can forget the stock strap.
Here’s some photos on stock strap

On Modena rubber strap, very comfortable

On Heavy Nato

Some more photos,

Lum-Tec on Di-Modelo water proof strap, very very comfortable, and suitable for swimming.

I will have to ask Dennis when he came to the States, he does have a twinge of Vietnamese accent still.

Here's a guy who's second language is English, worked himself up by his boot straps, has several successful businesses, owns two top notch Vietnamese restaurants, has two lovely children and beautiful wife.

Just goes to show you that if you have the right attitude and want to work for your dreams, the USA is still the best place on the planet to achieve your goals.

Have a Happy 4th of July!

One more thing about this watch, in some of the Youtube videos of this watch clearly showed the seconds hand not hitting the markers on the dial, well they must have fixed that, since mine hits all markers dead on!
