Confirmed my order shipping from the Nether-regions (actually from: Squiggly Trading B.V. Willebrordusstraat 16 3037 TR Rotterdam The Netherlands)

I could not resist this at the Masters in Time closeout sale price!! Not $790.00 , not $510.00 but a much more reasonable $255.00. Here's the link to the sale pages for M i T, lots to choose from... http://www.mastersintime.com/us/en/u...c-23423-2a.htm.

This is very silimilar to the Welder K23-1778 that I have, but has two major differences: it's Miyota auto & has lume... PLUS it was cheaper than the Welder !! :c

Here's the Welder for comparo...

Will post more 'in person' pitures when it lands.

~Curt

I suppose, but it's not a 'knockoff' per se`...at least notany more than theother brands that pick from the same parts bins.It shares the same case (probably sourced from the same mfg. catalog).

What I do know about these two is: Uhr-Kraft was founded in 1999 & is based out of Essen Germany. Welder is younger, beingformed in 2007 & based in Italy as 'NewTime srl'. Neither watch uses much in the way of German or Italian parts, sothe prices reflect that! Both are using Japanese sourced Miyota movements, both claim to have "5 micron ip plating" on the case, both are almost stricktly 'fasion watches' (the Welder has NO lume & only 3 ATM WR!).

I also know that I DO NOT need another square watch! ...but it wason SALE dammit!

(Pretty sure my NFW AutoPilot is the best square watch that I'll ever own.) Love that thing:

^^" Negative MrCurt...the pattern is full."

UPDATE: This has not arrived yet...have been tracking it using the info provided by "Squiggly.com order service".

It's not late or anything like that, just takes a long time to get from Rotterdam to Califonia.

More to follow......:whatever:

UPDATE: Still waiting...this watch hasnot arrived.

I'm not pleased with speed, or lack thereof,on this; & the tracking is almost non-existant. It has been thirteen working days since it was shown as shipped & has been listed as "in transit" since Feb. 3rd. Masters in Time won't help unless the package is twenty days overdue. USPS says: "the originating post is preparing to dispatch...".

Crap! - Stuck in limbo-land.. . . . . again. :WW

Similar stories: I had to waitthree weeks for a Renato to come from their factory warehouse inFlorida! I ordered a Parnis from Helenarou (shipped from China)which also took 26 working days to arrive.

What century is this again?!?? :%Is that twentieth or twenty-first? :%more like the sixteenth?! ...sheesh.

Take heed WatchFreeks...Masters in Time will take a long time in transit.

Ok, I'm done, rant over. Serenity restored. I'm just an impatient mutha-f*%k-r! :lol

USPS tracking is crap.

It usually updates the day after you recieve it.

No wonder why they're losing money.

Have faith.

Hang in there, hopefully it will arrive soon!

I had a watch recently that didn't update for a couple days, too. Frustrating!

Yup, that's 24 calendar days delivery time from 21st century Europe! So, I wonder...what's the hold up? I doubt it's the fault of Masters in Time/Squiggly Trading. It's just takes THAT long.

My enthusiasm about the watch has all but disappeared. Why? Because during the wait time I wore my NFW AutoPilot seven different days, and my Welder on four other times. I opened the Uhr-Kraft box and thought "Why the hell did I even bother with this?!?" . Don't get me wrong, it's everything I expected it to be & more; the watch is really top notch. Yeah...I know, I know...I'm a sucker for blocky square watches. (I'm wearing my Wenger Aerograph as I write this!:%)

Here aresome quick shots for your consideration...I'm probably going to post this up in the for sale section soon.:lol

Wrist pic? Sure it looks just like this:

:%:%:%:%:%Damn I'm stupid!
