Default Grand Seiko Godzilla 65th Anniversary L.E.

Here is another Limited Edition Seiko. Have you checked it out guys?

The Grand Seiko Godzilla 65th Anniversary L.E. celebrates not only the
20th Anniversary of the Spring Drive, but also Godzilla's 65th Anniversary.
With details like a 44.5mm stainless steel case, an AR-coated dual curved
sapphire crystal, 200m WR, nice textured red dial with Lumibrite coated
hands, and markers, Grand Seiko in-house caliber 9R15 Spring Drive
movement behind exhibition case-back, black, and red shark leather
straps, and more.

Have a few pictures...

Timezone, and Seiko also everybody...

WOW !!! That is sweet... Absolutely love that dial and case.
But, I get the Godzilla thing and all. But it's sacrilege to cover up such a sweet movement with a cartoon character...

Very cool details all around on this one. But due to my dislike of power reserve meters, I'll have to hang on to my spare 12.5K.
Reflex likes this.

Me too and that's why I went for the Pancor instead

Yowza, actually didn't even know the price guys.

That is as scary as it would be to actually see Godzilla himself !

Forza, was thinking it would have been neat to make that small
coin on the movement maybe show Godzilla on it, or something.
That way it would be a little more subtle like you are saying.

By the way Frans, thanks so much for putting up that terrific pic
of the movement ! ..Really is a piece of art, and just the decoration
on it is exceptional. But it's just as amazing inside as it is out.

Eric, it's funny how certain details about a watch can turn you
off right?! Power reserves are a love it, or hate it kind of thing
it seems. ..Honestly just was taken in by the awesome red.

Thanks so much for your two cents guys !!!
