Default New Seiko Presage and Prospex Automatic Chronograph L.E.'s

Hey everyone, did you see this new Seiko Prospex? Or Presage?

Each watch celebrates Seiko's Caliber 6139’s 50th birthday, and has
the Seiko 8R48 automatic chronograph movement, 100m WR, along
with Zaratsu polished cases, eye-catching dials with luminous markers,
and hands, and leather strap, or stainless steel bracelet also.

This new Seiko 55th Anniversary Chronograph (SRQ0031) even pays
tribute to the company's first wrist-mounted chronograph guys.

Here is a look...

Per usual... Seiko right on point. Beautiful pieces. I wish they would do a three hand. As I've stated before. Chrono's are a waste of good dial space. I have no use for them.

Not much of a visual link to the 6139. The one on the right looks like a take on the 6138 Panda - same style hands and the red tip on the sweephand.

I was hoping for something a bit more special. The 8R48 movement has been around a while.

That said, they are nice enough but not a 6139 which I'll happily take over any of these

I agree. All the microbrands selling three hand NH35 no date watches I'm waiting for a Seiko original.

Am thinking there is more on the horizon guys, and ones that will end
up dotting all of the i's, and crossing all of the t's in what we might be
wanting, or expecting. ..This might only be the beginning !

We will have to keep our eyes open, and see. But am thinking, or at
least hoping there will be something for everyone.
