That will fit right into the collection SeikoLuvR ! ..Has a real vintage
Seiko vibe, and maybe even a little Heuer too with that black PVD.

Going to wish you a BIG congratulations ahead of time, and a very
Happy Mother's Day !

Thanks AT! I've never had a Chronograph watch and after watching a few videos of how to use one, I thought, why not?! It could come in very handy with some of my 12yr. son's activities and other applications in my life. All I need now is 8 arms to wear them all!

I think you will struggle for help here we all have the same sickness and most of us are enablers too.
I think I purchased 12 last year (a serious amount for me) I only kept half of them though, some being catch and release pieces.
Great looking chronograph you have there BTW, enjoy.

Thank you! I am hoping that black Ion finish will be tough and last a good while. I'm pretty sure it is going to see plenty of use over time.

I think you will be fine after all it is a Seiko we are talking about and it is solar too, I am sure it will be a great grab and go watch to enjoy for many years to come.
Some great pieces in the recraft range I have been keeping a close eye myself.

Can't help you with the 8 arms, but man oh man, can say that
you made a phenomenal choice with this one. ..This Seiko just
has such a cool way about it, and such personality. It's some kind
of first chronograph that is on the way.

It should be ready for anything you guys can throw at it !

First thing I'm going to do is change out the strap for this Haveston M-1944C STRAP I have on order from England. Should compliment the watch pretty well I think.

Oh Happy Day! My Seiko arrived today when delivery was expected on Monday. Very excited for this one and will put it to good use! Going to change out the band though to the one I posted above as soon as it gets here. Will update photos with the new band also.

Saw this in your cool post on your collection a minute ago, and knew
I must have missed it's arrival SL !

Wow, yeah, you have to be ridiculously happy with this one, and how
it was even delivered two days ahead of time !

Can't believe how nice these Recrafts are to tell the truth, and this
one looks like it could be thousands of $. Seriously is so impressive !
From the sporty NATO, to flawless dial, it's just amazing !

Big congrats there !!!

Thanks AT! I am hesitant to say and almost afraid to but, it sure is a nice wearing and looking time piece! I am dedicating the whole day to wearing it, even though the Bertucci is calling me. :-) Maybe I'm a bit weird but, I just keep looking at it and thinking, "My that's a fine looking Seiko!" LOL!

You are very welcome, and by the way, you are not weird at all.
Think you are just very smart, and have some terrific taste in
watches ! ..This Seiko does everything right on every level,
so you want to just enjoy it.

But I know the Bertucci, and your other watches hit on all
cylinders too ! ..So it's tough.

ENJOY !

SeikoLuvR:
Whatta coincidence. Your 669 has the identical engine as my SCC021 Solar.
The V175. Mine has never dun me dirt!!! Always ready for any type service.
My SCC021 is on a Watchadoo Stainless Steel. Luv it. A weekly rotation guy.

Great to know I've got a good engine. I'm not very schooled on the different movements. Mostly buy my watches on the look factor.

Probably fair to say that watch looks are important for most of us. I won't buy a watch that has a great movement but which is not physically appealing to me

Whoa, these look phenomenal SL, and check out how it changes up
the whole look of the watch ! ..Kind of gives it almost more of a
military, or field watch vibe. Love the whole look, and how it adds both
class, and sport into the mix with this beauty.

So so nice ! ..Big congrats here !!!
