Default Seiko's new Mobile Suit Gundam 40th Anniversary watches

Not sure if everyone has seen Seiko's new Mobile Suit Gundam 40th
Anniversary watches already.

The show aired back in 1979, and there look to be three watches
celebrating the anniversary.

With the model SBDB033 45mm stainless steel case, 100m WR, Spring
Drive GMT movement, and gray, blue, red, and golden yellow Gundam
accented dial, and bezel. Plus neat strap, and cool case-back.

Then the SBDX027 and SBDX029 give you a Marinemaster design
with 52mm stainless steel case, 1000m WR, Seiko’s 8L35 movement,
and either green, or red accented dial, and bezel theme this time
around instead.

W&W, and Japan Today with a closer look...

Very nice watches. Most likely out of my price range but I really like the green one.

Yup, probably way out of price range, but you are right they look really
nice dermouse ! Actually having a tough time here choosing a favorite.
The green is perfect, but then that red is interesting too, and the GMT
really grabs you also. ..Will have to mentally pretend to be test driving
all three !!!

So happy you liked them sir !

I don't much care for the looks of the red/green ones but, that top one sure is a real looker!

Amen on being too pricey.
My sister's daughter teaches English at a school in Japan 40 clicks from the
nuclear meltdown power plant. Married to a Japanese guy who is principal of
the school she teaches at.
I'm thinkin I gotta chance to score some nice Japanese watches with my
niece, the go between. Next time she's in Edo (Tokyo) she could hit the shops
on the Ginza.
I emailed her and asked for her assistance. Got the bum's rush on helping me
snag a JDM.
Was I asking for too much help? I know they visit Tokyo regularly.
After I gave up on this idea I decided to withdraw her name from my Will!!!
