Default Seiko's new Prospex LX Collection and 6105 Reissue

Hey everyone, here are a couple more nice Seikos to add to Gary's
fantastic Grand Seiko's. Which are evidently being shown in Basel
this year. ..Not sure if you checked them out yet.

First you have the Prospex LX Collection which come in six different
styles all in either titanium, or with super hard black coating on their
48.6mm cases. In addition to that, you have 100m-300m WR, black,
or blue dials, black, and blue, and black bezels, a titanium bracelet,
silicone strap, or leather strap, and Spring Drive GMT 5R65, or 5R66
movement powering everything.

You also have the new 6105 Diver (SLA033) with 45mm stainless steel case,
200m WR, dual curved AR coated sapphire crystal, black dial with luminous
hands, and markers, waffle style silicone strap, and also Seiko Caliber 8L35.

Good to see a 6105 reissue and I'm relieved they didn't slap a Prospex "X" on it. Love it but $4250 is a bit steep for me.

Some cool additions right guys !!

Yeah Enrico, imagine if the "X' was on the Reissue there?!
I mean it still would have been nice, but you are right, it
looks more traditional, and just plain right this way.

Jeff, it is something how great a brand, or company Seiko
is right?! ..What's terrific is they not only have so many
new watches to enjoy, but old favorites too. Love that !

THX so much just for looking at these !!!

About that new 6105, you can see the space on the dial above the "Divers 200 m" and the hub where some designer was like "And this is where we put the Prospex 'X'!"

Cooler heads apparently prevailed and it was left off. "Just move the "Divers" line down a bit as to not make it as obvious"

Man, I love the watches. Really can't stand the Prospex X logo.

Agreed and unfortunately another LE.
Seiko have been having chapter ring alignment problems with some of their SKX models which many have blamed on poor QC.
Note the misaligned chapter ring on this rendering/photo of the 6105. The s/s 300 looks similar at 9.

Is it misaligned or is due to the slight angle of the rendering? It is not a perfectly straight on shot.

I've seen those SKX alignment issues but I suspect the latter is true on these. Each rendering seems to be a bit off axis to the left and face slightly upward as well.
