Swiss Army Men's Cavalry remove stem

I picked up a Swiss Army Men's Cavalry(1st photo of movement) and tried to remove stem. The stem was difficult just pulling it out. Had to remove movement again this time i broke the gray plastic crown off and the stem goes in but now doesn't run.
So I picked up another watch (photo 2). I'd like to take that movement and put in case of photo 3.

Where on this movement is the "release" for the stem? I don't want to break the stem on the replacement watch.
Thanks for any help-Joseph

Are these watches of some sentimental value to you?

If not, why are you expanding so much time and energy into them, when a new Swiss Army Quartz can be picked up at a relatively inexpensive price?
