If that was real, where the hell do you go to school?

Back about 18 years ago when I was in HS , not only did kids your age not wear watches, if they did , they sure as hell were not wearing Omegas!

He left it in the hallway. He is rich, he lives in the Ritz Carlton (around $500/night). At lunch I saw him wearing it. It was real, I was able to feel it, turn the bezel, I looked at the helium escape, etc. I told him how lucky he was to be able to have such a nice watch. He leaves it in the hallway. That makes me really mad. He has a Rolex Yachtmaster and an Omega. Yes, it was returned to him. I was walking past the office when another kid found it. I knew whose it was, lucky him, not that he would care, he would walk in tomorrow with a new one anyway.

I am 100% serious. It is unbelievable. Insane. Ridiculous. I wish I could just leave $5,000 Omegas lying around and not care.
Uh... Yeah... So does most of the general(adult population). Lol

I can't afford one let alone not care if I lost one.
Ditto.
I thought it was bad when some rich kid in my high school had his moms used BMW, let alone wearing a $5k fashion accessory.

No wonder they never learn the value of anything. This makes me sick. I had to earn everything. I worked from a young age. Put myself through college. Worked two and three jobs at some points. I'm not complaining, I'm just stating that I know the value of a dollar because I worked for it. This rich brats have it handed to them and never learn the value.

I don't think I will have to put myself through college. But I do have to work for everything I get. I wanted to get a Canon camera, so I saved about 13 months for it. I wanted to get a Deep Blue, so I saved 5 months. This kid who leaves Omegas lying around once asked another kid for a list of the best baseball equipment. He got a list of like ten things that cost probably close to $2,000, he came in with it all the next day. What is the satisfaction in getting everything you want? You never learn anything. I agree with you that they will never learn the value. I told him what a nice watch it was and that he was very lucky. It was less than an hour later that he left it on the floor of the hallway. I wish he could see how you are really supposed to live and earn things. Trust me, you are not complaining, you are putting life into better perspective for me. I just wish he would give more respect to his things and have to get something for himself for once. Let him live like the rest of us.
