Thanks for the props diver. Actually, Caravelle has always been Bulova's "budget" brand. You are correct in that for many years it was just known as Caravelle. But some time around 2013 they must have felt the need to revive the brand with a boost from the Bulova name. They did the same thing with Wittnauer, which was once a proud brand in its own right. They now state "Designed by Bulova New York" on the case back. This was all done under parent company Citizen's watch.

The lady swept me out for an impromptu trip to Chicago, so I just grabbed the Blumo sitting on top the watch box on the way out. I guess she'll get two more days of wrist time! Unless I buy a new one in Chicago ... Uh, oh.
