Thought this is a nice watch.
Unfortunately, it's a JLC which to me translate to FML...

Luckily I have this wonderful affordable piece that I figured looks close enough and one I certainly can pronounce much easier

Certainly, you guys can play this game too. Let's see what you guys got.

Sinn U1 vs my Helm Vanuatu, the Sinn is out of my range. But the Vanuatu is a lot of watch for a fraction of the cost.

Well played desk-diver! That is a solid choice no doubt, seriously.

When I picked up this Dan Henry, I then knew of no other watch that resembled it. I just liked it. As for the Marlin, I was aware of the "original".

Did not set out to buy the Vanuatu, I purchased the Khuraburi and was that impressed with it I ordered the Vanuatu straight away. Helm are supposed to be producing a new smaller in dimensions diver this autumn.
Helm have specifications way above the price point in my opinion, I am sure the new one will be just as good.

Sent from my Sinclair ZX81 using a dial up modem.

James has always been a cool dude and sported a cool Seiko digital back in the days.
Good luck finding this watch and even if you do, even better luck with the bidding.

I may never be as cool as James but I did spy this digital off Amazon and fell in love with it.
For around $23, well, I'm no octopussy so I pulled the trigger.

Casio Royale

A bit of lume in the evening sets the mood for the ladies, not that James would need it.
I, however, need all the help I can get.

I be like James, cool...

Yes smaller for sure, I will check my emails from them. If I remember correctly they gave the watches name and size.

Definitely let us know I’m all about reasonably sized divers.

This one is a classic chrono no doubt. Unfortunately, it will take a few megabucks for this Omega.

Casio to the rescue ...

On a more serious note a 1960s Omega Seamaster verses my Dan Henry 1964.

Well yeah, probably the most copied watch out there. It's a beauty.

Here is yet another homage or to the harsh critics, a straight-up ripoff. It is.
Curiosity and affordability got the best of me so I got one.
This is the second Chinese movement I've owned and it's been an impressive one as well.

Loreo Submariner Homage
Hacking and hand-wind Seagull.
Sapphire crystal
Solid SS bracelet with solid end links
Exhibition case back
120 clicks bezel, precise with hardly a play
Screw-down crown, crown action is nice

Here is an interesting feature I wasn't expecting about this watch. It has an extra set of lug holes.
The extra distal set is meant to accommodate other straps like a nato, so I tried it.
Works great so I thought this is brilliant.

It is what it is but, to be honest, it's a solid watch.
$76.95 delivered.
