Default Moderated posts?

I've had a few posts since the upgrade that have notified me that they required a moderator to approve them before they appear in the forum?

Am I right in asuming it is not because of something I have done, but is some sort of SPAM filtering built into the new forum software?

Might just be a permissions thing that has to be adjusted in the back end.

can you please tell me exactly which section this occurred in.

Thanks!

Last time was replying to your last post in "this is sooo wrong on sooo many levels". My first replys went through, but a later comment was sent for moderation.

What are you taking about?

Why are you always talking about getting banned?
We almost never ban anyone here and in 4 years can count on 2 hands banned members and those were extreme cases.
I don't remember any issues with you where you should ever be concerned about getting banned.

Please remember that the new software also has auto moderation features and sometimes moderates a post that should not be. The Mods on the site fix everything quickly like always.

All good and positive. I will look into the settings on the thread referenced above by the OP. thanks!

That has nothing to do with moderated posts as Ganson is speaking of.
Its just a filter that is in the software that will x out most curse words.
For some reason you can say ass though.
LOL

So sorry. I have been banned from various forums in the past.

It is not a reflection of this forum, but you are over reacting in a way. No secret
I resent the fact mods can be biased in some sites as you know.
Once for two weeks for using the word " replica" and not as in buy one
Lifetime for stating in a thread on quality of postings.... And I had hundreds there, not a newbie.... That 50% of threads are below average.... A fact as you know... But this was so uppity, I got banned for life. Sieko on my second post, banned for life. It's a crap shoot out there and I was being cautious not to say something negative on theist in question as that Seiko was so shitty it might reflect on some other member who would get his pants in a knot.

So, lighten up.... I know you are not going to ban me, but it is obvious it occurs a lot.

Leave it at that.

I edited a few posts above. Like always we do not talk about other forums or how they run their sites on Watch Freeks. Been that way for years and years and since we started this site.

Thanks everyone.

I recently used a four letter word starting with h (either the opposite of heaven or a word rhyming with deck) and it got rewritten as ****. Wasn't sure why, did not think it was foul language; now I know why
