ok, for that I can not tell you for certain. I dont know to the UK's restrictive laws, so you should look them up yourself and double check just to be sure (id hate for you to get into trouble)

this is what I found when I checked

http://www.aboveandbeyond.co.uk/blog...w-quick-guide/

my advice would be to go for the minigriptillian. it is just under 3 inches and is a folder, so most people would not consider this to be an excessive size

https://www.amazon.com/Benchmade-Gri...ini+griptilian

honestly though, the most useful and best knife for the buck I have had to date is the spyderco bug. its their cheaper slip joint line made in china, but it comes and stays sharp and is very well made. word of caution, this is easy to forget you have so be careful going to airport or a courthouse with this

*edit*

ok, evidently any knife with a lock is a bad idea to have in the UK and carry. go with one of spydercos slip joint lines as the article suggests. as I said previously, the bug is super useful IMO

ok thank you for the info , laws are tight over here, god knows why , most of the nutters if they want to do anything stupid go into the cutlery shop and buy a carving knife, far more dangerous .

Got this handmade knife at a gun show from a guy who uses copper and other metals as rosettes and other designs. I call it "The Noisy Cricket". See second photo for size...
