Cost: $54 USD excluding buckle

Strap donated for review

My Thoughts and Impressions: The stap named the "Werewolf" by Stach is probably the softest strap staight out of the packaging I've run across to date. The strap comes wrapped nicely in a small box along with the signed leather hang tang both of which I consider a nice extra touch. Beautiful color and texture overall with medium to dark browns while also capturing original stitch patters of the source military leather. The 22/22mm strap measures in at over 4mm in thickness and will change the appearance of any timepiece to one that is significantly more rugged in nature. Supplied along with the strap is a standard brushed spring bar Pre-V buckle.

The "Werewolf" is composed of two types of leather. First the inner layer is a heavy duty bovine yuff which was used to make the strap more durable and to provide more comfortable contact with the wrist. Next, the outer layer is made from old leather that was taken from old Polish Army equipment from my understanding in this case a map pouch of some sort. According to Stach the age is approximately from the 1950's. The stitching is a "slam" (waxed polyester braid) and used specifically because It provides required strength and durability.

A fantastic looking strap and an incredible value with significant craftsmanship on full display below. Each Stach strap is individually numbered and in this case the "Werewolf" is #454 which I see as another nice touch. The strap has been extremely comfortable to wear and is more comfortable with continued use. As I see it a terrific value at a $54 price point. Thanks for reading and I look forward to your comments.

Great looking strap! Especially for the price of $54!

I really like the look of this, and you can tell by pictures alone that it is a very soft strap.

Nice review.

Beautiful work. Stach is awesome. $54 is stealing it honestly as the pouch itself in its natural state is probably $20+

Baffling really. IMHO Stach could charge 3X as much if he wanted to do so.

Those straps are really nice looking. I've seen lesser looking straps for a whole lot more than 54 bucks, too. Nice!

Keep in mind that while this strap is composed of quality materials it is also extremely comfortable to wear. So besides getting a strap of high quality you get one that wears with extreme comfort as well. All at an approximate $54 price point which makes it just that much more appealing at least in my book.

Thank you. The discount offer is very generous.
