Default Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean vs. Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra

Aqua Terra:

Planet Ocean:

Both use the same movement (8500). PO has 600m WR whilst the AT has 150m, though I am never going to go that deep anyway. The PO is $700 than the AT. Both have pretty much the same specs other than that. The PO has a more sporty look/less classy while the AT has a more classy look with still a sporty edge.

PO all the way. I like rotating bezels on my watches even though I rarely use them.

The AT is on my short list for dress watches though.

The new AT is very nice. It all depends on the style that you are looking for. The AT is a little more "dressy" than the PO.

I own a PO42 and it is a great watch. But, I have been wanting to pick up an AT ever since I tried on the black dial at the Omega Boutique in NYC last year.

With all of this being said, you can get a nice Rolex (Seadweller, Submariner, GMT Master II, Explorer I or Explorer II) for the same price or less...what would Bond do?

I really love it and it is a definite keeper. It is larger (thicker) than my SMP but wears better. I also seem to think that it will handle a little more active living than my other watches. It looks like my PO and my Rollie GMT MII will be getting all of the wrist time for quite a while.
