Default Roebuck Watch Co.'s Alpha Series

Has anyone heard of the Roebuck Watch Company? Or the Alpha Series
by chance?

The Texas/New Zealand based company started by New Zealander, and
Architect, Guy Roebuck looks to make watches that are 'bold', 'out of the
ordinary', and 'interesting.' With details like 40mm brushed, and polished
cushion cases in both stainless, or PVD finishes, 100M WR, AR coated double
domed sapphire crystals, eye-catching water inspired sandwich dials, skeleton
hands, and applied markers, and numbers with C1 Super Luminova, Seiko
NH35A automatic movement, leather straps, and more.

Here is a look...

Price to high for an NH35. Motley dials in an odd case. And of course the Sears mystique hanging over your head. I think I'll pass on these.

I remember the "Old" days where you took your Sears and Roebuck catalog back to the outhouse with you, this one fits that category!

You know guys, was making that Sears & Roebuck connection right away
with these also !

Honestly like the whole idea behind the dial, and watch in general, and
how it gives you an overall classic style. All without actually giving you
a pure classic feel, or homage personality. ..The cool twists, and curve
balls in the dial alone let it break from the pack imho.

P.S. Art, have actually seen the M V M T commercials sir. Pretty cool !

Yeah, you are right, more dress, but with some attititude thrown in too !
