Default Muhle glashutte S.A.R pros&cons.?

Hello
I am thinking of a new watch and the Muhle glashutte S.A.R is grabbing my attension.
I am thinking of this watch but i have not seen it before in person or in a watch store.
What is the pros&cons of this watch?
I need a hardcore automatic watch to be worn during all week in all my activities without being worry about damaging the movement or breaking a screw inside.
Can i wear it while playing squash, going to the gym ?

This watch should fit the bill for being robust, but so is a $200 Seiko SKX diver.

I personally don't like the lugs (or lack thereof) on this watch, it would seriously hinder strap and bracelet choices.

A Sinn 856 with tegimented steel would be an even more robust watch, for about the same price, and much more versatile looking.

^^
This watch has lugs....they're just covered/hooded on top. Alternate straps of the correct lug width will work fine on this watch

I don't think I would wear any mechanical when participating in an "impact sport". A mechanical watch won't particularly like any sharp jarring impact. Things like chopping wood, baseball, golf, racket sports, combat sports are all things I think I would avoid. Watches can be pretty tough, but they aren't exempt from the laws of physics.

I would just budget a G-shock into the equation for when you're doing those kind of activities and then you're open to any watch you want.

I have tried damasko before in my DA36 and i was not sastisfied in the accuracy of the movement.
It needs to be regulated twice in 3 years.!!!

Both the SAR and the U1 use the same Sellita sourced automatic movement, so there's no advantage to either watch in this case

Same movement, so no difference there. There will be a big difference in size, the U1 is a beefy Divers watch, but the standard model with the Submarine Steel case and bracelet will be much more durable then the SAR.

The tegimented model is even more durable.
