Default Put my O1 on a Nato. Looks great!

Loved it on the bracelet but wanted to see how it looked on the black NATO it came with. Think I'm going to stick with it for a bit Looks great on the wrist and very comfortable.

Those too gman66.
Have you seen Paracord straps?
Made from parachute shroud lines I'm told.
Wonder if they are any good?

They appear very bulky Art. But if you ever had to repel out the window you’re all set.

TeePro:
C'mon Tee, are you putting us on?
You knew from the getgo it would look good on
a NATO!!!
I have 28 pieces all but one are divers. All but
5 were on NATOs. But I'm tired of NATOS so I've
been converting all them, except the 5 on brace-
lets to thick leather straps. It's the way i'm rolling
these days.
Bought all at the strap shop at the nearby mall.

Haha. It does, as diver's do. Leather straps add a classy feel for sure. I still can't take my skx009 off of the jubilee though. It's comfortable and looks good on "me". imo.

Lou:
I have a blue Turtle on a blue/orange stripe NATO with the 4r36.Definitely an advanced movement to the 7S26 in the SKX, but..... I love the whole vintage feeling of the SKX including the outdated movement. It is still a workhorse of a movement and a solid built watch requiring minimal maintenance in general. With that said, The turtle has been worn 3-5 days a week since purchased. I love it. Until I pick up my new work watch tomorrow

I also had an SKX and the Turtle is miles ahead of it in so many different way. To me the SKX just looks cheap compared to the Turtle.

moorery2001:
I reckon I'm the oldest WF @ 80 y o. Bought 1st watch (a WW2 issue Bulova A11)
in 1949. Seen lots of watch companies go down the pike. Own approx 30 watches.
Mostly affordables (called f71's in some quarters)
Woke up a few weeks ago and had a NATO "Come to Jesus" moment. In the process
of converting many of my subjects back to leather straps.

I drank the nylon strap Kool Ade, now back to leathers and stl stl bracelets where
I started!!!

Natos are great on most watches, but I find the ones with high case height, hmm, maybe not so good. Unless you can find a nice single layer nato that fits like a perlon. The double layer Natos tend to push the watch up off your wrist even higher on the ones with high cases. Makes them appear to be hockey pucks.

This one, my kinetic Tuna is ready for the slap shot and goal!

True. I have a kinetic that has the double layer nato and it does sit way too high. Also agree with the comment on the turtle vs the SKX. Really a different class. But, understanding that is why I still love the skx.
