Cool Two Reactors!

Happy to report that I just ordered not one, but two Reactors this afternoon! All the stuff you guys have posted about them being outstanding with their customer service have been spot on! Dealing with every person I spoke with was always an enthusiastic and friendly communication. Lisa B was without a doubt the most kind and pleasant young lady to work with. I only wish they had a photo gallery of all their employees so I could see what she looked like too!

As previous members / owners have done, I will do a thorough arrival and unpackaging review with photos if that would be welcome by others here? I'm not going to announce which models I selected until they arrive, sorry

Until then, Gunny out................

LMFAO!
You guys are a trip! I will have to remind myself to do a step by step unboxing photo shoot and not just tear into everything like a kid at Christmas! -lol. I will probably need to remove some links too since my wrist is like a piece of penne pasta!

Im actually more excited to receive that damn Carbon Fiber case I ordered to put these, and my other items in to be honest!

http://www.amazon.com/Volta-31-56090.../dp/B005X7EIZI

Don't worry, I will post it all up once it lands safely on my front porch! And yes, I talked them into a military discount which wasnt much but helped a little. Wish I could find some place to do this with the damn Tissot I've been searching the corners of earth for on a good cost!

To be continued.............

Nice choice on the watch's and you will be amazed at your new watch case.
Got the same one for my birthday in August. Was so happy with the quality and look the carbon fiber is not real, but everything else is done well.
You will not be disappointed, the thing weights a ton and well protected when shipped. Enjoy your new Reactors and there new home.

Well, my heart started pumping when i pulled into the driveway and saw a nice big box on the porch! I opened it to find my new Volta watch case in Carbon Fiber Finish, and as Eklipz said it sure looks sweet!

However, after carefully opening all the packaging I did not find a very important component inside - THE KEY! Called the company I made purchase from and they are out to lunch (California time) so left msg to get back to me asap. Meanwhile I thought Id try contacting Volta directly to see if Im missing something here (besides the key) and come to find out there is no company named Volta. lol

Volta is a new line of winders and cases produced by the sister company called Diplomat, which Im sure many of you have heard of. They are both owned and operated by another CA company called ADFA Inc, who does NOT have any customer service dept or was able to provide me with any answers at all. So we are off to a bad start with my new arrival and I will sit here IMPATIENTLY waiting for the purchase company to return my call. A typical Marine would break out finite tools and pick the lock but with my luck then Id end up voiding some return abilities or something.

Sorry this wasnt the unpacking and review of the two Reactor watches as promised, but hey - maybe someone learned something about watch cases from me just now, who knows? To be continued folks..................

Bummer, can you call in air strikes if you don't get a satisfactory outcome?

Any chance it is hidden under foam, or was in a separate small envelope or baggy inside the packing?
for you. Nice looking box.

After the 3rd time of turning all the packing material inside out, I went into the hard foam lining thinking the exact same thing! No key tucked into it.

However, after calling the company I bought it from and them saying they needed to have Volta (aka Diplomat) ship me a new one, I went into technical mode. Since the box top was locked it only was able to open enough to slip a thin butter knife into. I was then able to slide the locking bar to the side which effectively got the box to open!

Located INSIDE the locked Volta Watch case was the tiny little key meant to lock and unlock the case!! How in the world was I supposed to know or get to this without ANY idea or instruction booklet contained with this buy?

UN- Frigging- REAL ! (first time I used one of these forum emoticons!-lol) Now its time to start filling it up right? If my math is correct (which probably not) I have three watches inside it now and two Reactors on the way leaves 3 open spots left over! HMMMM - what to buy, what to buy my friends????

Congratulations, you have passed the Volta intelligence test and are now considered suitable to own one of our boxes.

We cannot give you a distinction or award you the free Rolex as you have unfortunately made two errors in your test.

1. You went through the packaging several times instead of breaking in.

2. As a former Marine and a man you have admitted looking for the instruction book.

Better luck next time

Yours

So funny you asked Fox!

They did arrive one day late due to the holiday on Monday.
I did take some pics while unboxing and am about to post all the pics and review her shortly!

I will say this. After wearing a Titanium MTM watch for the last 6 years I am VERY observant at how heavy the big Reactor Posiedon is with its stainless steel case and band! WOW! Wish I could get a Ti band with this thing, it'd make it a lot easier to wear on a daily basis! I also do need some links removed from BOTH of them too which I guess will get done this weekend. Im not one to tackle this myself!

Thanks for inquiring my friend and look for them soon. BTW- how about your package man? Did you already post up your new toy?

Sure did have a look here

I reckon the delay with yours was down to difficulty opening the package.

Look forward to seeing yours Gunny.

Thumbs down No Unboxing Photos and Review Today Folks!

Sat down at the laptop today to give the run down on the unboxing and post all the photos I took of these two reactor watches and this is what I get after hitting "Upload" on the photos which leaves me dead in the water.

I don't have any of those accounts that let you put up pics as links or a Dropbox account to post up so the pics can be viewed. I have always been able to post photos in every forum via the "Manage Attachment" method and this stumps me. Pissed.

THIS IS WHAT I GET WHEN DOING SO

If you stick a post in help desk section, in Home office, someone should be able to help.

Hey Fox

Yeah I did that by sending in a question and pasting that error notice in it too. Yet to hear back from anyone but hope they are able to fix it.

Question - Do I go ahead and tell you which Reactor models I got now or hold off until I have the ability to load all the pics up? Hell, I may even have to retake all the shots over again after putting a smaller size on my cell phone camera!!
