On April 19, I sent in an Invicta 4728/LTMOP (Specialty Ocean Ghost Mechanical) in for service. The crown was stuck in a single position; the hands would spin, but you could never push the crown in and wind or use the watch.

I got the watch back today... unrepaired. It just sat in a room somewhere for 3 months and then they threw it in a different box and sent it back to me.

I know it's common knowledge, but let me reiterate: if you EVER need warranty service on an Invicta watch, you are completely and utterly sodomized, "Platinum Warranty" be damned.

i think it's pretty much common knowledge that you bypass the time, money, energy and frustration of dealing Invicta CS and go straight to your local watchmaker. sorry to hear you got hosed by them :(

I have stated this many times on this and other forums.   When you purchase and Invicta as long as  you do it knowing that the reality of it is that there is no warranty, you'll be cool with it.   I've had multiple experiences of this type and it is disgraceful.  Next time, (if there is one) take it to a local watch repair guy and you'll be much happier even if it costs a few $$$$$. JMHO.

I understand the frustration....

But before a moderator scolds you for the curse word...be nice and remove it or use an alternate word ...we all know what happened to you.

I've heard many horror stories about Invicta CS but the weird thing is that I had the exact same thing happen to me with SO CS.

As unsurprised as I am it still sucks. Sorry to hear again about another members issues with Inflicta CS. If you really like the piece it may be worth a visit to the local repairman.

It's been said before, dealing with them can be a crap shoot. Many say they are the best and others have stories such as this.

Sorry to hear about your issue with the I CS.  Another horror story that just keeps me away from the brand.  I would take it like others have said to a local and see if it can be repaired easily.  Good luck.

Ive posted before on this.If your Crapvicta breaks throw it away. They are disposable.CS makes sure of it. I cant believe all the complaints on WF and its like
nobody listens.Believe me,I had so many dealings with Crapvicta its not even funny. The reason for Crapvicta success is they sell to unsuspecting customers and they gain more than they lose.Theyre rating with the BBB is a D.A D people. They get on average 30-35 BBB complaints a month.Look it up.Wake up Watchfreeks.Eyal is laughing at you all the way to the bank...

AS much as I waver from "attempted understand" to flat out bashing the brand, I would only offer this . . .

I think most of us know how you are feeling.  I would agree with the suggestions to take it to your local watch repair person and see what it would cost to get it fixed.

To me, you must like the watch enough to have taken the time and attempted to get the warranty work done.  Unless the repair cost is outrageous, see about getting it fixed so you can enjoy it. :)

Sorry about your experience . . . it does suck (no matter the brand), I would be disheartened and look to see if it was an anomaly or if you see a pattern.  This info can be helpful in future watch buying.  We ALL want a shiny new WORKING watch when the mailman shows up! :b

What does this have to do with the OP's original post about a watch that was not repaired properly about Invicta?

Please , keep the thread on track, lets just not start bashing everyone for the sake of it. Thank you.

I dont think that is the case. I myself dont buy the brand , so I dont have to worry about it anylonger. But people will buy what they will buy , no matter what. We offer up an alternative to getting the watch repaired is all. By all means, if someone wants to take the chance with getting it repaired with Invicta, go ahead. To us, it is simpler if you like the watch and want it repaired to go to a local jeweler and pay them to fix it.

Invicta will not change. They will continue to be the way they are, plain and simple, so people have to make up there own mind as to what to do , and to what to purchase.

And that is fine with me, it is not my money they are spending, but we do try and offer our opinions when we can, hopefully steering them in the right direction.

And that is fine, offer your opinion all you want, but there are better ways to say it then saying we are all brainwashed and like a deer stuck in the headlights. :)

Skeptic - sorry to hear about this situation. Are you going to try to get it fixed locally? That is a nice looking watch. What do you plan to do?
