Greeting to All,

I have a Graviton tide watch which is great for me because I need to know tides exactly in my area or else I can't access certain areas of the bay at certain times.  It has already been back Reactor to have the battery changed.  Now I just pulled it out of its storage case (I never wear it, just plan trips with it at home) and the hour, minute and second hands no longer move.

Is this an easy fix or a more complicated situation to remedy?  My house in NJ is all torn apart from Hurricane Sandy and don't really have the extra money right now to pay to get it repaired.

I have to say despite the glowing recommendations for this brand, I have not had a pleasant experience from the start.  The watch was a gift  from my gf.  When it arrived it had a small scratch on the bezel.  My gf contacted the retailer and they were not willing to easily facilitate an exchange.  So I just kept it.  Battery goes dead shortly thereafter - an inconvenience but as stated on the board here fast service from Reactor.  Now the analog function seems to have died.  Frustrating!

My understanding is that Reactor has a top knotch warranty.

http://www.reactorwatch.com/reactor_service.html

The Reactor Warranty

Our warranty is simple and straight forward: if anything goes wrong with your REACTOR watch in the first two years of ownership, we will either repair or replace it at our expense. Here's the "not so small print" - normal wear and tear and abuse are not considered manufacturing defects and are not covered by our warranty.

That's it. A warranty you don't need a law degree to understand. And after the warranty you get the same great service and same 48 hour turnaround, generally for $30 to $60, including return shipping.
