Now accepting orders

My next batch of Cave Dwellers are done and I am now accepting orders. I expect them to be in house by the first week of December. Please note that the prices are going up $25 for the stainless steel versions and $35 for the all PVD version, however I am going to hold the current prices ($440/$490) for all orders placed between now and the time they arrive.

I have the black dial in all versions, and the gray/blue/yellow dials with the SS bezel. If you want any of the latter group with the partial PVD bezel, purchase the all SS version and make a note on your order and it will come with the partial PVD(black) bezel. I do not have any all PVD gray or yellow dials, sorry.

Please keep in mind that I have had tons of inquires so I recommend you do not hesitate if you want one.

Thank you all.

I'm so glad I bought mine with the prices going up. I still get a kick out of strapping mine on.

If they are using 8215 movement then my question is will stutter as that movement does in other watch I have seen and read about it?

I've not had stutters with 8215 movements. In fact, I've found them to be exceptionally good and accurate, usually around +10 to 15 seconds/day. I've also never had a problem with one so I'm sold. I don't like that it doesn't hack but since I can count on its accuracy so highly, I'm cool with that considering the savings (usually in the hundreds of bucks). Of course, I like the 2824 more but if the watch isn't Swiss Made, I would prefer to hold on to that savings generally.

BTW, going back to stuttering movements, the only movement that I've experienced that particular problem with is the Swiss Made one, the CL888. Now that is a movement that I don't much care for as it has stuttered on me a couple of times and I've not found it to be particularly accurate or trustworthy.

The 8215 seems to studder in certain positions.
I've personally never had an issue when I'm actually wearing it,
After posting about thus movement here and discussing with many I think mostly people that have issues don't realize the movement can be a little choppy at times and is not the smoothest movement out there ... But it is much cheaper.

Keith is only doing the cave dwellers with this movement now because they sell better for him than the eta did,
And he always sells out pretty fast on these.

Really wish Keith would put a 9015 in them to get up to the 28k vph. I've owned two and they are awesome. I would gladly pay more for the 9015 or the ETA version, which he said he won't be doing any more.

Same here.  I like the look, but for a 1K meter diver with an 8215, I picked up a Deep Blue instead for a much lower price.  If it's ever made with the 9015, I might consider it.

That's one of the best micros out there. I loved mine.
8215 DOES stutter. Some more than others.
My Cave Dweller and Benarus with the same hardly had any stutter. But my A2 had a bad case of it :)
It does it more in vertical position which is unusual when checking time unless you are lying down.
