This was posted up recently at Oceanictime, and there is a bunch of threads on TZ-UK about this(dating back to 2006 by the way).

Im not sure how close they are to a release yet. 6 years of talking about reproducing a watch is kind of ridiculous. Kinda makes you wonder if it will ever come out.

Says only 100 will be made.

I could not find any info on an actual release date. Eddie posted at TZ-UK that their will not be a reservation list or preorder. I dont know if that is true or not.

Good looking watch though, that I imagine after all these years of talking and teasing with renderings, will probably sell out quick no matter how they are released especially with only 100 being made.

From Oceanic

Close onto ten years after the release of the PRS2 Dreadnought, a humble dive watch that garnered itself an almost cult-like following, Eddie Platts of Timefactors, a small independent watchmaker from Sheffield, England has created its successor, the Dreadnought GMT Voyager.

Specifications include: a German made case from with a water-resistance of 300 and an anti-magnetic shield upto 30'000 A/m.

When these first came out I understand the attraction and appeal. Their style and look was new then. I have seen some write on other sites that it was one of the first versions of the micro-brand-look that just about everyone has now.

If I am being honest with myself, these remind me of every micro brand out there (and many mainstream brands) with similar dial and case layouts and a 5 row bracelet.

From a marketing and sales perspective the build up has been ridiculous and they will obviously sell out in about 5 minutes as mentioned.

JMHO

James, for a change(LOL) I actually agree with you.
The original was one of the first. And I know they command high prices on used market because if that.
But this watch has been done by other companies through the years like the Ocean 7 LM6 pictured below and the Kazimon diver as well.
At this point I would have liked to see something different.

We'll see how Eddie prices them. I would hope it will be around 1100...I may get in on it and get the details.
