dark all night, so I think I need one with a light and not just "glow in the dark".  I want eco-drive mechanism. Any recommendations?  I haven't seen any nice dress watches with lighted dials.

Welcome to the forum.
I dont know of any eco drives that have a light function off hand.

You could always go with a Timex , one of their perpetual calendar dress watches, which have indiglo in them.

Or as Mark said above, Deep Blue does make a dress type watch with tritium tubes, that basically glows all the time, does not need a charging source.

Hi, thank you for your replies and suggestions.  I looked up Deep blue watches and really liked them, the only thing would be the automatic part.  I had a Seiko diver automatic and did not like the fact that the watch was not accurate and it stopped working if I didn't wear it.

I really like the way Timex watches work in the dark, but do not like the battery part.

I am hoping to someday find a nice looking watch that works in the dark (not just glow) and does not require changing batteries.:)

Thanks, I have one of those but mine does not glow enough.  I can use the light feature but I am so old I can't see those little numbers anymore.

Dude, I want the F35.  I live very near the base where the F35 is manufactured, that would be awesome if I could have the watch to match my neighborhood.  The price is a steep climb thought, no-pun intended!  (West Fort Worth, TX)

Welcome.  Along the lines of Deep Blue, try Android's tube models , such as the 45mm DME autos.  http://www.amazon.com/Android-Divemaster-Enforcer-Automatic-AD536BRG/dp/B006ZMJNAA/ref=pd_sbs_watch_16...

They come in several styles and models from 45mm to 50mm oversize pieces.  I have 5 or 6 varieations and love yhem.  They can dress up or down and are great quality watches at any cost.  Customer svc is top notch!  Good luck!

Thank you, they look nice and the price is an "achievable cruising altitude".

For my 2¢, who would actually want the Skyhawk model? The "see in the dark" feature is nice, but WAY too much other garbage on the face of the watch. Basically, a round slide rule. Does anyone now actually use a slide rule? Anyone? I'm a retired pilot in another life and at least in my day, we had small round Jeppeson computers like the outer dial on the Skyhawk watch. I venture to say they were much easier that using the outer ring on this watch.

I just bought my second Eco watch, a Citizen Men's AT4004-52E Perpetual Chrono A-T Watch. While I don't claim to be a "styling" judge, it certainly has "manly" features. Got everything I want in a manly watch although I could do away with the tacky-whatsyoucall it. Totally useless.

In the aviation business, there is a saying...

"Big watch, little ****, little watch, big ****".
