Hi all, im new here I have a question for those in the know, I have recently started wearing my late grandfather's watch it is a Orient Quartz that was given to him by the Sultan of Oman. Does anyone know anything about this watch, i have recently acquired the affliction that is watch collecting. I can barely pass a shop without stopping to look at watches. I have a budding collection. Any information that you can give me on this watch will be AMAZING....

Thanks

Don't know anything about that watch. But it's sure looks intriguing with that red insignia. Great history.

The red insignia is the royal crest of the Sultan of Oman. Just wanted some history surrounding this model, If there were many made on behalf of the Sultan.

Haven't the foggiest... but then again, I don't associate much with royalty.

I know nothing about that watch - other than it looks extremely cool with it's retro styling.
