I'm interested in the Luminox 3000 series or the Tawatec TWT 43.01.11G.

Both have push/pull crowns and are rated at 200m. How can that be,I thought all decent dive watches had to have screw down crowns?

Can someone enlighten me,as they are both execellent looking watches.

Push down crowns are not necessary. I have owned a few of the Luminox Colormark watches and hey are nice.

I have a 3000 series and I like it.

I see the Tawatec has a bigger case, crown at 4, and a metal caseback, which I like.

For my wrist the Luminox fits just right though.

I might have been looking at this one, TWT.43.B1.11G. Not sure if it's the one he's considering.

Love my Luminox. It has been in the water, been beat up a bit, and still looks and performs great.

I'm a big fan of Luminox and own several. I don't have experience with Tawatec.

Thank you tinknocker, that is the Tawatec I'm looking at.
So from what you all say a push/pull crown is ok for a 200m
watch.
