Got the email from Dion this AM. I'm a big fan of Magrette and this looks to be another "must have". Very excited about these. Great specs (the Miyota 9015 is a great movement) and looks. Like the custom strap. Putting a deposit down on the blue dial ASAP.

We are proud to present you three new future additions to the Moana Pacific range.

Keeping with some great elements from one of our most succesful models of recent years, the Moana Pacific Diver. We have created a modern feel with fresh looking colors and of course, some cool features. We will be offering three color combinations:

Stainless steel / blue dial
Black PVD / black dial and
Rose gold PVD / grey dial
All have their own splashy color accents to really make them stand out from the crowd. The matt finished ceramic bezel has C3 luminous fillings and we cunningly added a pressure escape valve for enhanced diving as well.

Some other features include brushed/polished case finish, thick double domed sapphire crystal, C3 Super Luminova hands and dial, water-resistant to 500m/1650ft.

We are extremely satisfied with the production renderings and cannot wait to receive the first samples in our hands. All three models will be ready at the beginning of May 2013. The models can be pre-ordered from this weekend onwards so our "friends of the brand" will have the opportunity to get in first from this limited production run.

We will have 200 pieces per color variation in the first batch and will produce no more than 750 pieces for the black PVD and Stainless steel models and 500 pieces for the PVD rose gold model.

This is all packaged together in our signature vintage style roll case made from high grade New Zealand canvas. We continue to use our eco pine boxes for shipping which ensures extra protection of your timepiece.

Really love the blue dial version....
Not in love with the depth markings on the inner chapter ring, but other than that, I love it, and like the look of that strap as well.

Good price too and the Miyota 9015. Glad to see him step up the movement for his affordable models.

I'd prefer a black dial date, but they look great.

DROOOOOL.

I love my Regattare 2011. And that price is the same as my Regattare 2011 with a better 9015 movmement.

I WANT THE BLUE ONE!

Heck...I even want that custom rubber deploy strap for my Regattare. :c:c

Deal breaker for me. I swore off anything bigger than a 22 lug.

Thanks

Blue is in.  I agree with Don regarding the "white" depth markings in the inner chapter ring.  It would be nice is they were more subtle.  I wonder if these are final specs and design.

I know right. How the heck does Dion do a Ceramic Lumed bezel with a 9015 movement for $545?

I'm so jealous of you guys right now. I have to flip some and sell some stuff if I'm going to get this one...arrrrgh.

Agreed.  I was looking at the blue and thinking "really nice but I wish it were maybe 2mm wider".  But when I read about the price and movement... this could be a terrific sport watch.  I tend to exercise, dive, and play soccer in my big bulky divers, but it would be good to have something a bit more manageable that just happens to look sharp and be priced right.  Cool rubber strap, too.
