Hey guys, I am new to this forum and was hoping to get some advice. I have done some research and finally decided on a watch that I really like. It is the Citizen Nighthawk WR200 in black. My problem may or may not be that there is a Japanese model and a US model. I have no idea if there is a big difference in the two or which one would be better for me. Please help, Thank you in advance

IIRC, there is an Asian mkt version and a NA version and the difference is the chapter ring is white on the Asian, but black on the NA.

someone with more knowledge of Citizen may know more, tho

here's a great shot of the two of them i found:

oh and welcome to the forum :c

I think the Asian version has an engraved case back as well.

I believe Eder has one.

Hey man! I have owned both of them and currently own the Asian version.

IMO the Asian version is MUCH better looking than the American Version.

The Asian version also has an engraved caseback instead of laser etched - not a big deal to most people since its the case back but its a cool feature. The asian also comes with a sweet black deploying strap and I have the bracelet as well.

Whichever one you chose you will not be disappointed!

I don't lik the new nighthawk...it doesn't do it for me. The old version(s) which you are looking at are money!

Here are some pics...let me know if you have any questions.

American

Asian
