Since I kayak fish frequently I get to rotate my orange face divers through the works.

This session was no exception. About a dozen fish landed and released yesterday while wearing my Mako XL in orange of course.

One fish had a fit on the boat and blew a few scales off before I could unhook it and get it back in the drink.

Of course, the Mako held up flawlessly with only a slight hint of fish slime at the end of the day.

Yep! man do they drag the kayak around. For grins, I lock down the drag, stand up, and get towed all around the pond or lake. People on shore are freakin' out. I heard them screaming on this fish " look at that guy getting pulled by a fish!" Then another dude said something like "biggest little fish I never did see...." whatever....turns out this one is the pic was an IGFA World Record All Tackle Length released alive fish! DOH! I just joined IGFA and found out I released not one but 5 or 6 possible World Record fish that day. Now when my IGFA Record Measuring Tool arrives, I'll be prepared!

And something Orange will be on my wrist!!!:b

Sweet!  Great pics.  Who took the pic of you?  Do you have the camera mounted on the kayak?

A stranger on the boat ramp took that pic. Sometimes I mount the GoPro on the yak or have my Olympus Tough on a spider tripod stuck somewhere. It just depends on the tempo of the catching. I also use a headstrap with the GoPro.
