Many of you know that I have been hunting the elusive Citizen SkyHawk
A-T (JY0000-53E) for some time now.  Today I defeated the beast in a deal that may go down in watch collecting history.

I purchased the beast at the local Kohl's.  The list price is $650 and she was on sale for $455.  I had in my possession the valuable 30% off coupon.  This lowered the price to $340.80.  I then used a $25 Kohl's gift card and a $75 Visa gift card making my final out of pocket cost $240.80.  And to top off the hunt Kohl's gave me $60 in Kohl's cash to use for any purchase after 12/24/09.

Brand Name:Citizen
Model number:JY0000-53E
Part Number:JY0000-53E
Dial window material type:Mineral
Clasp:fold-over-clasp-with-double-push-button-safety
Case material:stainless-steel
Case diameter:48 millimeters
Case Thickness:16 millimeters
Band material:stainless-steel
Band length:mens
Band width:21 millimeters
Band Color:silver
Dial color: Black
Bezel material:stainless-steel
Bezel Function:Slide-rule
Calendar:perpetual-calendar
item-weight:2.40 Ounces
Movement:Japanese-quartz
Water resistant depth:660 Feet

I will post pictures soon.  First I have to figure out how to set it and then remove a link.  If anyone has removed links on this bracelet I would appreciate it if could share any dangers.

Marc

I am pretty sure my father told me that one of the functions is that on top of everything else the watch can carve your Thanksgiving turkey.

Seems like I might have plenty of in-door time this weekend with the bad weather that is rolling in. I should be a master of the SkyHawk function and have plenty of pictures by then.

I've got it figured out.  The only trouble is remembering all the setting changes when you don't have the manual or video handy to guide you.

I think you have several that I want.  I have a Lupah Meteorite that I plan to sell shortly to raise funds and I hope to be able to get one of the Accutrons.  Either the Gemini or the VX200 with the Pepsi bezel.

I will be back on the hunt soon.
