By the way Shane, it is obvious with a little search around the net that they did not create the image. So I get what you are saying,
I apologize for my previous comments in this thread to you, as at the time I did not know enough about the image or that they directly copied this image from the coins.

I came across some coins with this image depicted on them(exact image).

Now I understand the ceremony of it and all that but could not find who actually designed the image.

Does anyone know who designed this image?

Have know clue who designed it originally, but someone did on behalf of the UNITED STATES NAVY.

There is a law about using certain things government like for example a Purple heart or medal of honor, saying you are a recipient of that can now result in some jail time, I think it is now a federal offence to do so.

All I know is it is not cool to just go and help yourself to another persons design without express permission, you can"t do it with Music, movies or anything else for that matter.

I'll have to check but I believe since our inquiries they have added a brief comment or something on their website about the origin which is good I guess.

Well you can buy one of the coins from amazon for $12.
Of course it says what it is though.
Tourby has seemed to update their site for the diver , saying the case back design is about crossing the line. Nothing more or in depth explanation about it, but at least it's some acknowledgement of what it is.

No problem, I am just a firm believer of being honest about stuff like designs, military, Men and Women serving their countries and they alone have the right over something as mundane to most "A medal" a coin?? it means nothing to most but to some it is from the heart, not the wallet.
