Was there all last week. Beautifull but very pricey. Cheapest dinner my wife and I had was 177 bucks! Luckily we were guests of my bro-in-law's company  and only had to pay 100 bucks a day on a meal plan that covered all meals.  Not sure how a family of 4 can afford this place at regular prices.  I tried to get a bunch of pics for all the watch brands offered like Hublot,Panerai,JL and Ulysse Nardin ect. but most of the places would not allow me to get pics and some would not even let me take pics from  the outside of the stores.

Prices were very high except for one store which I could have snagged an IWC Galapagos for around 3300. In another store they had sector watches but said Sector would not allow them to discount any of the models.  They also had SL Trimex's that they said they could let me have for 300 bucks each!.

The John Bull stores had a very nice Breitling co@)pit with a dark green bezel which I never saw before and I tried it on. I flipped over the tag and it said 3100 bucks which I thought was not to bad but then read the small print on the bottom which said "watch head only".  They wanted another 795.00 for the rubber strap!  I asked how much they would take if I gave cash and again was told they could not do any discount because they did not charge tax.

I did get a few pics but my computer at home is on the fritz and hopefully I can get some up this week.

Very pricey out there indeed.  I was also out there in the Bahamas too around the same time.  The cruise ship I was on had Invicta's,  citizen, Bulova, and Fossil.  All very pricey on the ship also.

Atlantis can be expensive if you dont have the inclusive meal plan. The meal plan is a MUST. I saw a Family of about 5 without the meal plan in the Marketplace buffet for breakfast with a $200 check. And that was BREAKFAST!

There were some watch shops over the bridge on the main drag in Nassau. The last time I was there the prices in those shops were much better then the exclusive shops on Paradise Island.

Is it just the Scot in me or is that just plain wrong? $200 for breakfast for a family of 5, I assume some of them kids?

Everything food wise was expensive.  There was a pizza shop on the Marina and it was 34 bucks for a large pie with no extra toppings! Surprisingly the Starbucks just down from the pizza place had their coffee and breakfast sanwches the same price as the u.s.

Don't know what you guys are talking about. I scored a never seen before tourby Breitling there on the mainland for like $25 bucks. I know I stole it from the guy but I figured he would be just fine because he had a ton of Gucci bags for sale to make up for it.
