I just ordered a new Greg Stevens Zulu band for my Patriot.  While putting on, I noticed that my watch had lost about an hour since yesterday.  I was setting the time, it was almost 6, and noticed that the hour hand was off some.  I put the time at 6:30 and the hour hand was really close 7 marker making it look like it's 7:30.  I've emailed Resco and see how they was to proceed.  The watch has the original Slava movement.

It's awesome when a company responds on a forum like this one has done. It is truly the best way to maintain confidence with the consumers. Good on you, Resco!

Hello,

This is John, Office Manager at Resco Instruments.

I just responded to your email a few minutes ago. After doing so and reviewing my other emails in my inbox, I was directed to this post by a friend at Watch Freeks. I am relatively new at Resco, but I would like to apologize for all of the issues that you have had with your Gen 1 Resco Patriot. I can imagine your view of Resco isn't very positive at the moment, and I don't blame you if that is the case.

Now that I am aware of how many problems you have had in the past, I would be happy to email you a pre-paid shipping label first thing on Monday morning when I get into the office. I will take care of you to the best of my ability.

There's no excuse for having to return a watch 4 times for repairs, so I won't give you one. I will, however, do everything in my power to make this right for you.

Feel free to email me at john@rescowatch.com with any questions you may have and we will get the process started right away.

I look forward to hearing from you.

John

Thanks, John!! Replied to you email.

Thanks for the kind words.

As much as I would like to give 6gunner a new watch, it is not in my power to do so. However, we have offered to upgrade his current Russian Slava movement to the same Swiss movement we are using in our Gen 2 lines at no charge.

:c

I'm working on getting that shipping label emailed to you as soon as our UPS admin panel clears the transaction, which should be tomorrow at the latest. Thanks for your patience in the meantime.

We will get your Gen 1 Patriot up and running in no time and when we are able to offer you the Swiss movement upgrade I will send another pre-paid shipping label to you so you can send it in for the upgrade at no expense to you.

Thanks for your support of Resco Instruments. I hope we can earn your respect regarding the quality of our products in the future. It is certainly my intention to do so. Please don't hesitate to contact me any time for any reason.

top notch John:c:c I like this a lot, that is great CS and goes a long way with all of us on the forums! I also like the transparency here,:c

Thank you for the compliments and nice response. I always do my best to treat customers the way I would like to be treated if I were on the other side of the transaction. I can only hope this earns their trust in the long run.

RIGHT ON! that is how I treat people in general... sales, work, neighbors....
good stuff:c
