This must have been discussed before, but I  can't find anything about it.

I've cracked the crystal of my PO Homage Mako XL and would like to replace it with a sapphire.

Is there anyone that sells sapphire crystals for Mako XLs?

I think I remember reading, about a year ago, they don't make them, but I can't imagine that's true.

Try Harold (yobokies).

Do you know the diameter? If so, you could look at Otto Frei or another parts company. I did a thread on parts and repair sources that you may want to take a look at.

I would think you can get an after-market crystal for that watch. As long as the shape of the watch is not unusual then third party crystals will normally fit.

My second step was to contact Harold.

I just wanted to see if anyone had had a sapphire crystal put on their Mako XL, or know someone who has.

BTW The XL's crystal measures 35mm.
