My oldest one is about 16 years old.  Never had any work done to it other than band adjustments.

Love them and currently own 2 with another due to arrive very soon. The titanium models especially with the bracelet to match are amazingly light and feel great on the wrist.

My fave Eco-Drive

I went without an Eco-drive for a couple of years and really don't know why. They are great watches for the money!

I have an Eco-Drive that I love, but I will never buy another regular Citizen. For as much as I do love my Citizen, one thing disappoints me and keeps me away from the brand - no sapphire crystals in their regular watch line. When my watch got a small scratch, I realized this fact. They do offer a 5 year warranty, but I would prefer sapphire. Love the watches, hate the crystals.

I agree with the previous posts - I have 6 Citizen ecodrive watches and never had a problem of any kind with any of them.  Dollar for dollar I think they are the best you can buy.

Another that I picked up from a forum member earlier in the week and I put this nice rubber strap on it.

Hey Richard,

I don't think I've ever seen a watch with the stem on the left side. Is that because you drive on the "wrong" side in the UK? :%

Come on everyone knows that the US drives on the wrong side :t

But just a slight correction, I live in Dublin Ireland which is not part of the UK.
