I have a few watches that always seem to end up on my wrist for certain events or occasions.  For instance, we are going to the movies today and I always wear my Ball NightTrain to the theater.  Why?  Well it is the lume of the tritium tubes that lasts the entire time without even thinking about charging it up.  Love the way it does that.

How about you?  Any watches that you wear for a special reason?

When I travel and I know I'm changing time zones I always wear this one:

Just the best travel watch, as it easily changes between the current and new time zone, and then always shows the time in the old time zone for your reference.

You know for me not really.
Only Exception would be when I have to get dressed up, I try and put something on that will look good with a button down or a suit, but ive been lax on that to for the past couple times and just wear whatever I want lol.

I used to have a nice dress watch , but got rid of it cause I hardly wore it.

I wear my watches everyday regardless of what i'm doing that day...nobody's going to run up to me and say "No, dude! That's the completely wrong watch for what you are doing now! Take it off!". And it's a complete waste to NOT wear them on a regular basis when i like them so much.

I wear my Seiko monsters (Black and White) when mowing the lawn. They are my "work" watches....oh and the vibration of the mower seems to wind them as well. :)

A seiko Titanium chrono from the meid 90's when I do yard work. Was my everyday watch for many years.

And I agree with Ian. I have people at work all the time ask me " why do you wear that to work". They usually think it is too nice to wear to work. Shames their 20 dollar digital's I guess.

Someone asked me just a few weeks ago how do i pick out what I'm going to wear. I said it doesn't matter. I like them all.

My first love. The sentiment for me & this Seiko SLL Perpetual goes deep. I only wear it on very special occasions (such as weddings & anniversaries).

If it's a day out with the kids at an amusement park or where I know I'm going to be active. The GW7900MS comes along.

If it's a special occasion or an important meeting I go with either my sumo or sammy

And for camping or outdoor activities, I go with my Pathfinder
