We also offer some of the finest handmade leather belts, alligator belts, crocodile belts, lizard belts, a shell cordovan wallet, shell cordovan NATO watch straps, nylon NATO watch straps, alligator money clips and leather camera straps. We also create unique vintage watch straps that utilize leather from vintage military leathers sourced throughout the world. Kried Specifications: 22mm mm thick 141/76mm Price: $190 USD "This vintage watch strap is made from a super soft and extremely pliable Swedish ammo pouch. We retained the original tear drop keeper of the flap and framed it at the tip of the longer strap. The smell is also amazing!" Strap provided for review Thoughts and Impressions: My first review of an Ammo strap but have researched and viewed many Ammo straps for many companies. The "Kried" is definitely "super soft and extremely pliable" like outlined in the description from DaLuca. The strap has a nice appearance visually and you can feel the quality of the leather is very good. No questions at all to these areas. The polished signed buckle is sewn in and finished extremely well. However, this strap is quite unique and different in regards to specifications from Ammo straps from other companies in the same price category to which I have had exposure. The "Kried" is extremely thin at 2.5mm. The back of the strap is raw and unfinished. These two design aspects elicit potential concerns about the long term durability of this particular strap (not DaLuca Straps as a whole just the "Kried"). The potential for breaking down very quickly with daily use not only from buckling and unbuckling but skin moisture soaking up into the raw back of the strap is another concern. I did confirm that the "Kried" was created this way intentionally. DaLuca Straps through requests for custom straps can finish a strap in any way a customer requests such as backing, etc. However, the overall style for DaLuca Straps is RAW and Minimal. DaLuca has most certainly illustrated their style with this particular strap. Potential trouble areas mentioned above aside the "Kried" is a very comfortable strap probably one of the softest I have felt and is visually appealing. I would still enjoy seeing this exact strap or something similar with finished backing and around 4mm in thickness at a $190 price point then it would be comparable to other straps on the market. Nice review as always. Strap, well, I will say, the leather looks great, but that is very thin, and not awhole lot of craftsmanship there for the price, but I see where they are going with the raw leather thing I guess.

Raw indeed, but too raw for me and for the price. Just my opinion. Looks like a really soft leather, but how soft can you get? I guess for the premium pricing, the leather is built to last longer than "regular" leather. Great pics and review.

Not just this strap but many of the hand made straps are way over priced. You can get a decent leather jacket for $200 to $300. Just my $0.02. Love ammo straps, not really fond of this one. I mean, were has the money gone? I can conceive that there are extra premium quality leathers out there or some with great patina but I can´t see it in this strap and I don´t think you can see it on the workmanship either.

this is a great looking strap but the work put into it is nowhere near worth 190$. I was on DaLuca website the other day, just crazy their priceing. i have been making watch straps for 2 weeks now and have made straps that look the same or better than most of theirs. i was thinking about trying to sell a few soon. Since im new to it, i was gonna shoot for 50$ since they take me about 3 hours to make all by hand, but after seeing 150$ average price for most i think i might have a great chance of selling some if im that much cheaper :D.
