Thanks to everyone for their support, feedback, and reservations over the last year as we have worked to bring the K500 to production. We recently received the prototype and are very pleased with the quality and feel of the K500. We have included some photos of the prototype below as well as a list of revisions for production and an image illustrating these changes.

REVISIONS

* Crown length will be extended 1.2mm to improve ease of use.

* Hour and minute hands will be painted grey, per our original rendering.

* Caseback will be customized with art, which will be revealed very soon

* Second hand will be beefed up a little bit and have a larger lume area.

* Date window's angle will be corrected so that it properly aligns with the date wheel.

* Date wheel will be black with white numerals.

* The lume will be of a higher quality on production models.

* Bezel action will be slightly tighter.

* Production models will have respectively matching crown finishes.

Pre-Sale Phase - We will begin our pre-sale phase next week and will be invoicing reservation holders (reservation holders will be receiving an email update outlining the details). We now have a total of 240 reservations so there are still some spots available for the "first 250" offer. As a reminder the first 250 to pre-order will receive:

-Special Pre-Sale Pricing
-Recognition by name in owners manual
-First reservations on future products
-Lifetime timing adjustments free of charge

Estimated Delivery - According to our manufacturing partner, production should be completed in about 6 months. We will be posting updates in this thread as we receive them. Please stay tuned in for the latest Hexa news - and some surprises along the way!

Got an email yesterday saying we would be invoiced next week... Just now got an invoice email saying it's due today.  So what's going on? :whatever:  No word on how long it will take to actually get the watch though...

Went ahead and paid my %50 deposit so the "real" wait begins...:l

From reading above, looks like your looking at least 6 months to get it.

I have to say initially, I wasnt real fond of this watch, mainly because of the crown guards and placement and how it gives the watch an unusual shape.

But I will say this, it is original , that is for sure, and in a world of divers that are copy cats of others, original is refreshing.

What combo did you pick?
For the first time ever I went BB but with black bezel, I think it'll be killer on his watch :b a la Sinn :)

That's what I went with and will be sticking to since I don't have anything like it.:)

Temped by the all PVD one as well... but you know how those PVD bracelets tend to suffer...

We are extremely pleased with how comfortable the K500 feels on the wrist. We were confident that the design would be easy to wear but it has exceeded all expectations :)

Oh wow....that is pretty short.

Thanks Brice. Like I said, I obviously missed it.
Just looked longer in the wrist pic shown above.

Maybe Rocky has a small wrist :) or short across as opposed to flat.

I also picked BB with PVD bezel since I do not have that style in the collection.  I was very close to getting all PVD, but I figured I can always pick it up later.
