Straight out of the review to answer your question (See Case, Crystal, Dial and Hands Section): "There is a bit of molded knurling on the bezel for grip, but the grip is far from positive. I found it to be difficult to turn (which can be a positive) especially when hands are cold and dry. This isn't necessarily a bad thing- rotating bezels should stay put and I have no doubt that this won't turn if it gets bumped inadvertently. "
