From Facebook.

Steve said this is an older drawing, and it will be 500 meters water resistant and have a slimmer case back.

Correct me if I am wrong, but is this just another BP FF homage?

Ive noticed a few of the Benarus watches looking alot like the Armida (or it could be visa versa I suppose). BTW its not just Benarus thats looking like the Armida. I believe there's a Boschett that looks very similar also. JMHO.

In fairness, not that there are not alot of dive watches looking similar , but Boschett does not have a dive watch that looks anything like this, and I dont know of an Armida that looks like this either.

Don its just my observation, and you're right that many are starting to mirror each others brands but I wasn't necessarily referring to this model. I was thinking more about the Remora, and the Boschett Ocean Mariner. To me they are very similar, but I guess that is the great thing about watch collecting. Everyone can have a different take on particular designs. Just my opinion.

Really not trying to argue here, but,

Boschett Ocean Mariner, is more Rolex styled if anything, or pro diver if you will.

(not my pic)

And the Remora is a vintage style cushion case diver.

Nor am I, but that's what individual opinions are for. To be sure I am not trashing any of the 3 mentioned manufacturers (Boschett, Benarus, or Armida)I think they are all super watch companies, and w/ the exception of Armida (only because I have no personal knowledge of their CS as of yet) both Benarus and Boschett have super owners that trickle right down through their CS. In the pix below I have the A1 and the Remora and I just see some similarities between the two other than the crown location . That's all. Nothing negative.

I have not seen any Benarus that resembles any Armida. Now I've seen them both with watches resembling other brands but not each other (more so the case with Armida).

Even the pics posted above. I don't think those watches look very much alike (especially when viewed at all angles). Outside of them both having black dials and black bezel insert (which many, many divers have), I don't see much in common.

The cases look similar but the dials are different.

I don't know. One case has hooded lugs, the other does not. One case is 45mm in diameter, the other case is 42mm diameter. One has curvy case sides the other more straight sides.

Not sure that I will be doing a complete review on this one but I did post some pics and brief comments in the thread below.  If you have any questions that need answered I would be more than happy to try and answer them.  If I do not know I will find out for sure.
