If you have been a member on this forum for at least 2 weeks, I'm certain that you have seen a thread thanking Stan and Deep Blue for their amazing customer service.

Despite the desire to be a "copy cat," I felt it important to once again point out the unbelievable service that Deep Blue provides. Stan offered half links for the Master Explorer.  As CJ (caddymon) pointed out several nights ago, the
Master Explorer (ME) was on sale on the Shop at an incredible price.

I purchased a orange dial ME from the shop and at "sick" price. The next morning I sent Deep Blue an email asking for the half link knowing that my weird wrist would need it for a perfect fit.

I just returned home from going to the Pittsburgh Penguins game (they kicked Winnepeg's butt) and dinner with the wife for an early Valentines celebration. Low and behold, I received a padded envelope containing a half link.

Now let me finish this drawn out explanation - never mind that I was never asked to pay for the link...never mind that I was never asked to pay for shipping...never mind that Deep Blue sent the link in a padded envelope or with the care as if they were shipping a watch...

The watch I ordered has not even shipped from the Shop as I type this! Now folks...that is service!!!!!!!!!!! The ME will be my 4th Deep Blue, but only the 2nd I have in my collection (because I sold the other two - keep up).

My point is this...if you have considered buying Deep Blue, but just "wasn't sure," you are missing out not only with a quality time piece, but a company that has customer service that back that quality.

Thank you to Stan and the folks of Deep Blue. I will ALWAYS have atleast one in my collection!

BTW - here's what I'm waiting on:

I agree, Stan does have excellent CS, and its great he sent the link out so fast.

I will say though, there should be no charge for it, or for shipping as in my opinion, these watches should be coming with half links. JMO.

But again, always nice to hear positive experiences instead of negative. Thanks for posting. Put up some picks when you get your M.E.

Sammy has been really great with me from DB, too. In fact, I needed a link for one and a half link for another. I asked him for these on Wednesday night and they were in my mailbox 3K miles away today. How cool is that! Nobody tops this kind of CS.
