My new Viperfish arrived today and it is an impressive watch both in size and weight.  I got the carbon fiber dial all black and orange chronograph version with both black finish steel bracelet and rubber strap.  George installed the bracelet prior to shipment, thanks.

As received the watch and full length steel bracelet weigh 414 grams or 14.6 ounces.  After sizing the bracelet to fit my 7.5" wrist the weight was reduced to 373 grams or 13.1 ounces.  Sizing required removing 4 links as the bracelet is the longest I have seen.  Most standard make watches I get require removal of one bracelet link.

The back on the quartz movement watch versions does not have a exhibition window, unlike the automatic versions.  It is nicely engraved with the Viperfish logo and name along with various watch information.  No model or serial number visible on the watch back.  I will be checking with NFW as to whether these watches are serialized and where the serial number is.  Nothing visible but I have not removed the bracelet to check the area between the lugs which is where Rolex has their numbers.

All in all a very well finished and MASSIVE watch that weighs almost twice as much as my next heaviest which is a Seiko Velatura Kinetic GMT which weighs about 207 grams or 7.3 ounces.

The one thing I noted with mine after brief wear was that the latches on the steel bracelet, both the main latch and the divesuit extension, were way too loose or easy to operate/open as received. After exchanging emails with George I went ahead and adjusted (bent!) the latching tabs for both latches nd stiffened up operation considerably. Prior to that "adjustment" both were coming unlatched in normal wear, definitely NOT a good thing for that heavy a watch.

Sounds like yours was adjusted a bit too loose. This is not normally how they come.  The tabs are adjustable since some people like them tight and others like 'em loose.  Sorry your tabs were adjusted on the loose side!  Glad you were able to get it set to your liking!

I absolutely love this watch. It is currently on my list of "wants" has anyone experienced issues with the case being too tall and it bangs on stuff? I think its 18mm

No problems w/case thickness, just be carefull not to "bang" it on anyone-resulting damage can be grusome- not to watch but to person. Remember to take it off before "wrestling" with the wife!!!!!

Its hard not to love this watch. I just get concerned with it being so high and catching on stuff. Sounds like its not a problem. I own a deep blue abyss and I think I would love this more.

BTW mine is extremely accurate.  It is the quartz chronograph movement and has been well within 1 second per month since I received it.  Just had to reset it for daylight savings.  One of my most accurate quartz watches.
